Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

This is a key position that requires strong leadership and financial management skills to develop and implement corporate financial strategies for a major healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective financial planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Implement cost-saving measures to minimize expenses while maintaining high-quality patient care services.
Financial Management:
  • Oversee payroll budgeting and cash flow management to ensure timely payment of employees' salaries and benefits.
  • Monitor revenues versus development and non-development expenditure to identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish efficient medical and surgical package pricing based on the department's services.
Strategic Management:
  • Optimize cash collection cycles and sources to reduce debt and improve liquidity.
  • Minimize hospital direct and indirect expenditures and overheads to increase profitability.
  • Plan and control accounts for visiting consultants, out-patients, in-patients, and diagnostic services.
Reporting and Supervision:
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management on corporate finance matters.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the RMI Trust team to ensure effective support to the organization.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification from Pakistan or abroad.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a hospital or private sector setting.
  • Excellent computer literacy and working knowledge of relevant software applications.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Effective leadership and professional workplace attitude.
  • Strong inter-professional/group and supervisory skills.
