Job Title: Crane Operator

A crane operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of pick up and carry cranes to lift and transport heavy loads. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety and efficiency, with excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate the crane to lift and transport heavy loads according to project requirements and safety regulations.
  • Assess loads to determine weight, balance, and proper lifting techniques to ensure safe operation.
  • Maneuver the crane in various directions to accurately position loads.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to property.
Requirements:
  • Valid certification or license to operate pick up and carry cranes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional vocational training or certification in crane operation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a crane operator, with proficiency in operating large-capacity cranes in construction or industrial settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.

Physical fitness and dexterity are also essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
