AWS DevOps Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our development team in the US. The ideal candidate will work closely with the entire technology team, focusing on accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness within our sprint process and agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with operations teams to streamline security measures in a Confidential cloud environment
  • Analyze subscriptions for various business cases to apply organization-specific security guidelines
  • Gather requirements from clients about existing applications to apply security measures
  • Understand and utilize the latest AWS features, such as AWS DevOps, OMS, NSG Rules, etc.
  • Maintain source code in Git and GitHub repositories using GIT
  • Proficient with AWS services: Compute and Network, Storage and CDN, Database, Analytics, Application Services, Deployment, and Management
  • Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
  • Familiarity interacting with AWS APIs
  • Design and deployment of Disaster Recovery across regions (a plus)
  • Use tools like Visual Studio Community Edition, Visual Studio Code, Power Shell ISE, and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Work with Agile methodology in XL Deploy and XL Release, CI/CD automation from scratch, Docker, OpenSearch (a must)
  • Automation and testing via scripting & programming (TFS, PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Ruby, Java)
  • Implement Continuous Integration and deployment (a must)
  • Conduct Dry-Run Tests to ensure fool-proof execution of customized scripts before execution in production environments
  • Experienced in building, deploying, and integrating Python-based web and mobile applications
  • Implement backup methodologies by Power Shell Scripts for AWS Services like AWS SQL Database, Key Vault, Storage blobs, App Services, etc.
  • Create AWS services using ARM templates (JSON) and ensure no changes in the present infrastructure while doing incremental deployment
  • Configure XL Deploy and XL Release for all applications from scratch
  • Acted as build and release engineer, deployed services by VSTS (AWS DevOps) pipeline. Create and maintain pipelines to manage IAC for all applications
  • Assign RBAC policies at group level and user level as per LTA created for the services. Implement new Automation account, scheduler, notification hub, IoT Hubs, Batch, and other services
  • Write PowerShell scripts to create parameter files automatically for all services in AWS Resource Manager
  • Assign RBAC Roles using Organization Active Directory at Subscription Level to grant access only to required members based on Least-Access Privileges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firewall team, database team, application team) in the execution of this project
  • Use Service-Now tool for managing incidents and change request tickets
  • Experience in troubleshooting database connection issues on incremental deployments
  • Provide status to Business Level management and conduct Proof of Concept for Latest AWS cloud-based service
  • Exposure to monitoring and diagnostic tools/dashboards like Kuban
