Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled Engineering Project Director to lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.

About the Job:

This role involves overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Project Plans: Create detailed project plans, including deadlines, resource allocations and scheduling to ensure effective project delivery.
  2. Manage Budgets: Collaborate with finance teams to create and manage project budgets, making informed decisions that balance cost-effectiveness with quality requirements.
  3. Monitor Performance: Regularly assess project performance against defined parameters, providing thorough updates on progress, achievements and potential challenges.
  4. Ensure Site Compliance: Oversee project execution at the construction site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and applicable codes and standards.
  5. Implement Risk Management: Identify, analyze and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success.
  6. Manage Changes: Establish effective change management procedures, adjusting project plans as necessary to accommodate changes in scope, objectives or external influences.
  7. Optimize Resources: Optimize resource allocation for project teams, working closely with HR to deploy human and material resources efficiently.
  8. Assess and Respond to Risks: Identify and assess risks under their management, develop and implement risk response strategies, and monitor risks and response strategies.
  9. Ensure Information Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills. A PMP certification is preferred, and relevant industry certifications are mandatory.
