Job Description:

Engineering Director - Design

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director - Design to lead our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design, with at least 9 years of experience. Having a Master's degree is preferred. PEC registration is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a strategic vision for design initiatives, aligning engineering teams with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Project Management: Manage engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration into the overall project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance protocols for design processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design workflows.
  • Workforce Development: Lead initiatives for continuous development, designing and implementing training programs to enhance the capabilities of the design workforce.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that design activities strictly comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with regulatory affairs teams to secure necessary approvals.
  • Communication: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between the design department and other organizational units.
  • Total Quality Management: Implement total quality management principles to enhance overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Planning and Organization: Exhibit strong planning and organizational skills, optimizing resources and workflows to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Decision Making: Demonstrate deep functional expertise, providing guidance and insights based on a comprehensive understanding of the relevant domain.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, effectively communicating progress, achievements, and challenges.
  • Impact Analysis: Provide clear insights into the tangible impact of design initiatives.
  • Problem Solving: Exhibit strong decision-making skills, solving complex problems efficiently to achieve optimal design outcomes.
  • HSE&QA: Ensure that the design team complies with HSE&QA guidelines and implements procedures and protocols in routine processes.
