Infrastructure Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable infrastructure.

About the Role

  • This role involves designing and implementing highly available and scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • The engineer will lead container orchestration efforts using Docker and Docker Swarm, including creating optimized Dockerfiles, managing container networking, and implementing service discovery solutions for microservices architecture.
  • They will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitHub Actions, focusing on automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies for applications built with TypeScript.
  • The engineer will monitor and optimize system performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana, while implementing logging solutions and establishing alerting thresholds.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience with cloud services, particularly EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and IAM, with demonstrated ability to architect cloud-native solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Docker and Docker Swarm, including experience with multi-container applications, volume management, and container networking.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage resources and maintain configuration consistency.
  • Experience with Node.js ecosystem and TypeScript applications, including understanding of build processes and optimization for React and NestJS applications.
