About this Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design of scalable software architecture using Infrastructure as Code and work with developers across different teams to create a highly scalable and reliable system on the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform, good problem-solving skills, and good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for various services.
  • Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ensure site reliability of the infrastructure and maintain disaster recovery plans.
  • Document DevOps processes and apply practices for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Automate deployment processes for new services.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in setting up scalable architectures and systems, including caching, message queues, databases, microservices, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, such as pods, services, deployments, and secrets.
  • Experience containerizing applications with Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Powershell or Python or Bash.
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform (Azure experience preferred and other cloud technologies, like AWS).
  • Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices, and Kubernetes networking, and pod security policies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
