PART-TIME Accountant - R&D Tax Credits and Investment Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled accountant to assist in identifying and capitalizing on R&D tax credits and investment opportunities in the UK.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, enabling them to provide expert guidance to clients on maximizing benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To collaborate with our team in identifying eligible R&D activities and expenses, preparing claims for R&D tax credits.
  • To provide guidance on investment opportunities worldwide, supporting informed investment decisions.
  • To prepare financial statements, tax returns, VAT returns, and other financial documents.
  • To conduct audits and reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, advising clients accordingly.
  • To work collaboratively with other team members to provide comprehensive financial advice and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • ACCA, ACA, or other relevant professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, focusing on R&D tax credits and investment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment.
  • Experience working with clients in a professional services firm or accounting firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
