PART-TIME Accountant - R&D Tax Credits And Investment

We are seeking a skilled accountant to help us capitalize on R&D tax credits and investment opportunities in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of or be able to research UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, providing expert advice to clients on maximizing benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with our team to identify eligible R&D activities and expenses, preparing claims for R&D tax credits.
  2. Provide guidance on investment opportunities worldwide, supporting informed investment decisions.
  3. Prepare financial statements, tax returns, VAT returns, and other financials.
  4. Conduct audits and reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, advising clients accordingly.
  6. Work collaboratively with other team members to provide comprehensive financial advice and support.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. ACCA, ACA, or other relevant professional qualification.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, focusing on R&D tax credits and investment.
  4. Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment.
  5. Experience working with clients in a professional services firm or accounting firm.
  6. Excellent communication skills, explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
