Job Title: Inspection Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Inspection Engineer to join our team. As an Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with the maintenance department to implement and execute recommendations effectively.

Your role will involve coordinating the inspection of static equipment (e.g., reformers, vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and piping) through a third-party company, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Vibration Analysis Program for rotary equipment in collaboration with a third-party company, ensuring accurate fault identification and diagnosis.
  • Develop comprehensive inspection packages for plant turnarounds.
  • Execute and oversee all inspection activities during turnaround periods to ensure quality and safety.
  • Implement PSM (Process Safety Management) modules related to Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance at the plant.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for mechanical damage in equipment such as piping, vessels, and storage tanks, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in inspection and condition monitoring.
  • Proficiency in vibration analysis tools and techniques.
  • Good knowledge of API, ASME, and ASTM standards.
  • Hands-on experience with RBI planning and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in root cause analysis.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across departments.
  • Certification in Condition Monitoring or Vibration Analysis (e.g., ISO Category II).
