Backend Software Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable server-side components using NestJS/NodeJS.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in NestJS and NodeJS, with experience in developing and maintaining complex backend systems. You will also be expected to design optimized and secure APIs, integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, write clean and efficient code, and document processes and database schemas.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable server-side components using NestJS/NodeJS.
  • Design optimized and secure APIs.
  • Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
  • Document NestJS/NodeJS processes, including database schemas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years of backend development experience with strong NestJS and NodeJS expertise.
  • Proficient in NestJS, REST API design, and debugging.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (Postgres or similar) and MongoDB/Redis.
  • Hands-on experience in API performance optimization and unit testing.
