Strategic Data Analyst

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning activities through the use of modern data tools and automation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the financial team to provide analytical support in monitoring KPIs, forecasting metrics, financial reporting, and pricing models.
- Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver data-driven insights that inform financial decision-making.
- Build and maintain automated reports and data pipelines using SQL and/or Python.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data quality through automation.
- Work closely with data engineering and other analytics stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems.
Qualifications/Skillset:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years' experience as a financial analyst or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for using data to drive business value.
