Expert System Integration Specialist

Our team requires an expert in system integration to design and implement scalable solutions, integrating APIs between separate systems, and managing databases for data collection and analysis.

  • Maintain and support existing systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with project managers and software engineers to solve engineering problems.
  • Work with the team to improve technology and practice continuous development.
  • Implement new features and changes requested by the product team.
  • Design analytical dashboards for telecom billing data.
  • Architect business web applications in PHP/MySQL.
  • Work with REST API and API-based systems.
  • Support and enhance an existing production system.
  • Document work in the project management system and track time spent on each task.
Requirements

Strong English communication skills are essential.

Previous experience working in international software development is required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience managing enterprise-level MySQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations.
  • Strong focus on DevOps and experience building deploying and supporting infrastructure with cloud technologies.
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to deliver multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Git and Subversion for source control management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Object-oriented design and coding skills using PHP on a UNIX or Linux platform.
  • Experience with distributed systems algorithms and relational databases.
  • Ability to articulate and document technical challenges and solutions.
  • Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous problems.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Experience with ExtJs Framework.
  • Experience with Silverstripe CMS.
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow Applications.
  • Prior experience with analytical dashboards.
  • Prior experience with REST APIs for MDM Platforms Air Watch Intune Snap Engage Matomo File-maker Sierra Airlink Management Systems.

Background in telecommunications is preferred.
