
Training and Development Specialist

This is a dynamic role that requires extensive travel to various locations. The selected candidate will receive comprehensive support, including accommodation, food, and transportation allowances.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver interactive training sessions on classroom management and general running of a classroom environment.
- Staff Orientation: Provide in-depth orientation for new employees, covering essential topics such as teacher-child interactions, program planning, and routines.
- Circle Time Activities: Lead engaging circle time activities during orientation, promoting effective interaction and teamwork.
- Supervise and Observe: Supervise the proper use of centers and supplies, and orient experienced staff on correct methods while observing their performance.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of staff training needs and progress, ensuring seamless tracking and evaluation.
- Classroom Setup: Arrange classrooms as necessary with assistance from the Regional Director, maintaining a well-organized and efficient workspace.
- Update Teaching Materials: Update teaching handbooks and curriculum guidelines, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and standards.
- Staff Supervision: Directly supervise staff and schools, including weekly meetings with the Director of Curriculum, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Supply Distribution: Coordinate supply distribution and maintenance checks at schools, guaranteeing smooth operations and minimizing disruptions.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with floor directors on staff and child behavior issues, addressing concerns promptly and resolving conflicts efficiently.
- Meetings and Reports: Attend weekly meetings with the Director of Curriculum and submit timely reports, including hours worked and locations.
- Work Plans: Provide a projected work plan for the upcoming week by Friday, ensuring clear goals and objectives are met.
- Performance Evaluation: Maintain a floor notebook at every site, discussing strengths and weaknesses with the Director of Curriculum, to facilitate continuous improvement and growth.
- Simplify Classroom Operations: Streamline classroom operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Enhance Staff Skills: Continuously improve staff skills and competencies to meet organizational goals.
- Streamline School Operations: Simplify school operations overall, reducing bureaucratic hurdles and increasing flexibility.
- New Staff Support: Ensure new staff members are thoroughly equipped to succeed in their roles.
- Seasoned Staff Development: Enable seasoned staff members to continually improve their skills and expertise.
