Job Title: Senior Manager Nursing

This role oversees daily operations of a nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses and healthcare staff. It involves administrative, clinical, and leadership duties to maintain efficient workflows, compliance with healthcare regulations, and staff development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, ensuring placement in hospitals based on patient's workload and standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, including JCI/Accreditation Canada standards.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, conduct regular rounds, and address patient and family concerns.
  • Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed, and promote a patient-centered approach to care.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSN/Post RN BSN with 10-12 years experience in leading JCI/Accreditation Canada accredited hospitals.
  • Clinical expertise and quality patient care.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Regulatory compliance.
