Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Requirements: Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables and identify test requirements from specifications.
  • Test Planning: Map test case requirements and design test coverage plans, estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Bug Identification: Identify bugs, log defects, and any nonconformity found during the testing phase; work with the development team to resolve and verify fixes when implemented.
  • Test Execution: Execute test cases for functional and end-to-end integration testing.
  • Reporting: Develop daily status reports & test summary reports for clients.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest improvements in existing company processes especially related to quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in load testing, stress testing, and performance testing.
  • Experience working on high-traffic and large-scale software products is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
