Job Title: Digital Content Strategist

 

Social Media and Content Marketing Role

This role is at the core of our marketing team, requiring a creative and process-driven individual to produce high-quality content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement strategies to grow our online presence, generate website traffic, and leads for our prospect database.
  • Develop resources for the marketing team to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and other important metrics, including ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, and blog posts.
  • Blogging on an ongoing basis to support and promote our ventures and attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing regular, helpful content aligned with their needs and interests.
  • Moderate and engage with our online community, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

 

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, with expertise in producing web-specific content and channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Prior experience in building audiences either online or offline.
  • The ability to take a dual-minded approach to your craft: being highly creative and an excellent writer while also being process-driven, thinking scale, and relying on data to make decisions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign), HTML, and Wordpress or another CMS.
  • A solid understanding of basic online marketing funnels and how channels work together, including Search, SEO, Social, Mobile, Lead Gen, and Content Marketing.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with HTML and Wordpress.
  • Knowledge of basic online marketing funnels and how channels work together.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign).
