SEO Specialist

As a key member of our online presence team, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's digital footprint by developing and executing search engine optimization strategies to achieve and maintain top rankings on major search engines.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with web designers, developers, and content writers to establish SEO strategies and create search engine-friendly websites that adhere to current best practices.
  • Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming, ensuring seamless integration of SEO principles across all platforms.
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in Search Engine Algorithm, implementing improvements to our SEO strategy to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly web analytics and ranking reports, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough keyword analysis, research, and bidding across multiple campaigns, including PPC, organic search, and other platforms.
  • Develop and execute link building strategies, optimizing links for search relevance and implementing effective link building programs and tactics.
  • Provide expert recommendations for website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Offer ongoing support for all SEO initiatives, including reporting, analysis, and optimization recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, making strategic PPC campaign recommendations and utilizing bid management tools and data modeling to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates for improved performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communication is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in search engine optimization; candidates with certifications are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, and WebTrends is essential.
  • Familiarity with Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN AdCenter is necessary.
  • A proven track record of achieving top search rankings through optimizing websites, mining website analytics data, and keyword research and analysis.
  • Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics, making informed decisions regarding campaign direction.
  • Experience with Schema Mark-Up is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills are required.
