About the Position- We are currently recruiting for experienced Bulgarian interpreters and translators to work within various settings such as healthcare, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services etc.
Established in 2001, this organization provides professional interpreting and translation services to both public and private sectors across the globe. If you possess excellent language skills in Bulgarian and English, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
The Role- Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and reproducing content in the original 'source' language into the target language with 100% accuracy.
- You will interpret for people using legal, health and local government services, check non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence, conference, consecutive and public service interpreting, dealing with highly confidential information, and liaise between the service user and service provider.
- Fluent in English or another language.
- BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
- Any other interpreting related qualification.
- Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
- You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond.
- You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Training and Development in Interpreting and Translation.
- Hands-on experience working in live interpretation and translation settings across sectors such as healthcare, legal, education, and immigration.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced linguists, offering insight into real-world communication challenges and professional interpretation standards.
