Job Title: Multilingual Communication Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled interpreter and translator to facilitate effective communication between diverse language groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services.
  • Verifying the understanding of non-English speakers after each sentence.
  • Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting services.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Liaising between service users and providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English or another language.
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT), or TESOL.
  • Any relevant interpreting-related qualification.
  • IETLS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
  • Ability to sign and agree to a surety bond.
  • Agreement to maintain confidentiality through a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
