HVAC Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC specialist to fill this key role. In this position, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of various building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate centrifugal, reciprocating, and chiller systems, as well as associated pumps and equipment.
  • Monitor the operation of low-pressure air compressors, distribution systems, chillers, water circulation pumps, and monitoring systems.
  • Perform operating adjustments to maintain efficiency and ensure proper functioning of engineering plant equipment.
  • Interface with building automation and energy management system components using a computer terminal.

Building Multi-System Operation:

  • Ensure effective operation of assigned systems and equipment.
  • Calibrate, adjust, and align equipment as needed.
  • Perform backup and recovery procedures.
  • Update alarm system messages and reset malfunctioning lines or connections.

Documentation and Maintenance:

  • Ensure that operations documentation and procedures are accurate and current.
  • Maintain event logs and perform routine maintenance on all HVAC/Controls systems equipment and related components.

Job Requirements:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
  • An EPA license is also necessary, and a Trade School certificate is preferred.
  • Strong physical ability, strength, manual dexterity, and lifting ability (up to 50 lbs.) are required for this position.
