Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Operations Director to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC) in providing top-notch security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing SOC team by recruiting, training, and developing security analysts, engineers, and other professionals.
  • Oversight of day-to-day SOC operations, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Develop and implement the SOC strategy, aligning with company security objectives and best practices.
  • Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with other departments and stakeholders for rapid resolution of security incidents.
  • Implement and manage advanced security monitoring tools and technologies to detect and respond to threats.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding security operations, providing regular updates and ensuring their security needs are met.
  • Develop comprehensive reports on security incidents, threats, and SOC performance, maintaining detailed documentation of all processes and procedures.
  • Continuously assess and improve SOC processes, tools, and technologies to enhance overall security posture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a SOC management role.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions. Proficiency in incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team of security professionals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Experience working with clients in a managed service environment. Ability to understand and address client security concerns.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
