Job Title:

Database Infrastructure Specialist

  • We seek an experienced MySQL and infrastructure professional to build a large-scale SEO platform.

This role involves designing a production-ready MySQL Cluster on 4 servers, setting up secure networking with auto-failover, and optimizing the MySQL setup for high-throughput JSON ingestion.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in Linux system administration, excellent documentation skills, and experience with security best practices.

Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of MySQL replication, high availability, and failover.
  • Experience ingesting or transforming massive JSON datasets.
  • Proficient in GCS CLI tools and cloud-to-server data transfer.
  • Solid background in Linux system administration.
  • Strong grasp of security best practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • MySQL Router, ProxySQL, or Vitess experience.
  • Prior experience with Hetzner servers or bare-metal infrastructure.

This is a remote opportunity requiring high responsiveness during working hours.
