Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SQA Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality across our software products.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Strategy Development: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules to ensure seamless integration with development processes.
  • Testing Methodologies: Define and execute testing methodologies including functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify defects and improve overall quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development and product teams to align testing objectives with business and technical requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environments to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Defect Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of complex issues and provide actionable insights to drive process improvements.
  • Quality Reporting: Prepare and share detailed test reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates with stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Automated Test Script Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage.
  • Test Automation Framework Optimization: Continuously optimize the test automation framework to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Research and Recommendations: Research and recommend new testing tools, frameworks, and best practices to strengthen QA processes and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing to drive team success.
  • Design and Code Reviews: Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring quality considerations are integrated early in the development lifecycle.
  • Agile Ceremonies: Actively engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure smooth QA integration.
