Job Overview

This is a full-time role for an Accounting Lead. The Accounting Lead will oversee all accounting activities, manage financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

They will serve as a key member of our team, managing client interactions and project management on the monthly close process via various tools.

  • Work with our staff to resolve complex bookkeeping issues with clients who have messy financials.
  • Keep the balance sheet up to date on a consistent basis.

You must be comfortable speaking with clients directly to discuss their financials and provide them with financial reports.

The role involves using QuickBooks for bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll, and performing general ledger/bank reconciliations.

Provide strategic advice to clients and update them on their financials via email and other channels.

Clean up clients' old financials and historical books to get them in a proper form.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and general bookkeeping (5+ years at least).
  • Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a professional accounting qualification: CA, ACCA, or CMA.
  • Audit background is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.
  • Tech-savvy—comfortable using AI tools for research, etc.
  • Experienced professional with at least 5–7 years in accounting, or a related field.
