Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Press Developer to oversee the pre-press team, manage workflow efficiency, and ensure all print-ready files meet high-quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration with designers, production teams, and print vendors to streamline the pre-press process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the pre-press team, ensuring timely and accurate file preparation for various printing processes.
  2. Oversee pre-flighting, color management, trapping, overprinting, and imposition settings to maintain print quality.
  3. Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure artwork is optimized for different print formats.
  4. Develop and implement best practices for pre-press workflow and quality control.
  5. Work closely with print vendors to verify proofs, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain print consistency.
  6. Stay updated on printing techniques, substrates, and finishing processes.
  7. Manage digital asset archiving and ensure version control and proper documentation.
  8. Provide training and guidance to the pre-press team on new technologies, software, and industry trends.
