GSPANN is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Management System (WMS) Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of efficient warehouse management solutions.

  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in WMS, specifically Manhattan WMS, and proficiency in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Velocity, REST, and SOAP.
">Key Responsibilities">

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for solutions/applications developed, interacting with clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participating in scoping, estimating efforts, and collaborating on milestone planning, key deliverables, assumptions, commercials, and dependencies.
  • Driving solution architecture, designing, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and customized WMS solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Making critical technical decisions to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Defining best practices and standards for WMS development.
  • Leading code reviews for customizations, ensuring high-quality coding standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring team members maintain a high level of technical competence.
  • Identifying business problems and proposing innovative solutions to offer to clients and monetize.
  • Developing and executing skill-building plans for team members.
  • Assisting in hiring the right talent for the organization.
  • Motivating and mentoring team members.
  • Contributing to white papers, blogs, and case studies.
  • Participating in Pre-Sales activities, defining end-to-end solution architecture, and driving proposals.
  • Implementing Manhattan WMS modules and configuring them to support various warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
">Requirements">

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 12+ years of experience in WMS (like Manhattan WMS) and Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Velocity.
  • Expertise in Manhattan WMS is mandatory, along with its integration with other systems like ERP/MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/ProShip. Any knowledge of Manhattan Active & Proactive tool is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the Retail – E-commerce domain is Mandatory.
  • Customize the WMS to accommodate specific business rules, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS inbound/outbound processes, and web services (REST & SOAP).
  • Hands-on with designing medium to large enterprise applications along with code refactoring and performance tuning of application.
  • Thorough with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS etc.) with good exposure to Authentication, Authorization, SSO using JWT, OAuth, SAML is required.
  • Expertise in implementing Test-Driven Development, Domain-Driven Design, and clean code principles.
  • Should have client-facing experience and have worked in matrix organization and onsite-offshore models.
  • Experience in using estimation techniques like (Use-case, FP, and Story points).
  • Experience in creating presentations and demos for customers and the internal management team.
  • Experience in Agile execution methodology is mandatory.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
