Senior Account Manager

As a senior account manager, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial activities of our organization. This position demands an individual with strong skills in budget management, financial analysis, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will lead a small team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Their expertise in advanced Excel and Quickbooks will support our overall financial strategy while promoting best practices within the finance department.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the financial integrity of the organization, facilitate smooth operation within the team you manage, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting Process Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive budgeting processes to ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to aid in strategic decision-making for the organization.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the timely filing of all necessary tax documentation.
  • Account Reconciliation: Collaborate with team members to conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial records.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Utilize advanced Excel skills to create detailed financial models, forecasts, and reports.
  • Payroll Processing: Facilitate payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Financial Process Improvement: Assist in the continuous improvement of financial processes through the implementation of best practices.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team member, providing guidance and support to foster professional development.
  • Financial Communication: Communicate financial insights and updates effectively, ensuring stakeholders have access to vital information.
