Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator (PMO) to oversee project delivery and ensure seamless collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain company-wide standards for project management.
  • Configure and manage Atlassian Jira in accordance with established project management standards, including creating projects, milestones, backlogs, queries, and generating necessary reports.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from planning and execution to completion.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
  • Compile and present detailed status updates and essential metrics.
  • Organize project-related meetings and facilitate communication among different departments (design, dev, sales, devops, qa).
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of project documentation and evaluations.
  • Provide training and guidance on best practices in project management methodologies.
  • Assist in resource distribution and capacity planning.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal forms.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A team-oriented approach combined with leadership capabilities.
  • A computer science and/or Business graduate with a major in project management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience as a PMO coordinator position, preferably within custom software development firms.
