Software Project Manager

We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to lead cross-functional software development teams. As a Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project lifecycles from inception to delivery, ensuring the successful execution of client-focused software solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical deliverables and foster high-performing teams through agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, objectives, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Create detailed project plans and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions within timeline and budget.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and manage expectations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional deliverables.
Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA engineers, and DevOps.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Risk & Issue Management:
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track.
Process Optimization:
  • Implement and improve agile and project management best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC and project governance processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience managing software projects, with a proven track record of delivering scalable web and mobile applications.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in software engineering or technical understanding of modern tech stacks.
  • Experience working in a consulting or multi-client services environment.
