Job Overview

This is a senior accountant position in the finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll accounting, reconciliations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll accruals, actuals, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process one-time payment accruals, including sign-on bonuses, merit bonuses, retention incentives, and relocation.
  • Support audit processes by providing data and documentation, validating payroll GL interface files, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
Payroll Accounting & Reconciliation:
  • Post monthly/bi-weekly payroll accrual journals, comparing them with pay registers to ensure accuracy.
  • Post monthly/bi-weekly payroll actuals journals, validating them against pay registers for precision.
  • Manage payroll liabilities to ensure payments are processed within due dates and reconciled monthly.
  • Accrue and reconcile bonuses, retirement plans, employee benefits, and 401K-related reclassifications.
Transaction & Validation Management:
  • Handle various accounting tickets, validations, and ad-hoc entries, including actuals/accruals validation, intercompany transfers, and advance salary payments.
  • Manage annual payments for benefits and programs, such as pension contributions, bonus accruals, and CPF & NS claim receipts.
  • Ensure accurate communication and validation of GL entries, employee stock purchase plan balances, and restricted stock units balances.
  • Prepare and validate payroll GL account reconciliation for all legal entities and reconcile with payroll reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Completed advanced degrees in relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience.
