As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations tailored to business needs.
  • Optimize data models using DAX and Power Query to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Integrate Power BI with diverse data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Develop reusable and secure data models, measures, and calculation groups to promote consistency across reports.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
  • Automate data refresh schedules and troubleshoot performance or data integrity issues.
  • Stay current on Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform updates, proposing improvements as applicable.
  • Work with data engineers, business analysts, and IT to ensure data alignment across systems.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to Power BI users and business units.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI in enterprise environments.
  • Strong command of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
  • Deep knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience in writing complex stored procedures and views.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Experience with performance tuning, large data sets, and gateway configurations.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and role-based access control.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
