Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Specialist to join our team. As a Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for formatting and publishing e-books, ensuring high-quality layouts, and collaborating with authors to bring their works to life.

Your primary focus will be on producing engaging, high-quality books that meet client preferences. You will conduct thorough research on assigned projects, understand the details and requirements of projects, and write original and error-free content adhering to internal and client-provided guidelines.

You will also be responsible for professionally editing content across multiple genres, formatting manuscripts into high-quality e-books, and conducting quality assurance checks to ensure all formatting and layouts meet publishing standards.

In addition, you will maintain communication with authors throughout the publishing process, clarify requirements, and update progress. You will also keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to e-book publishing and formatting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on assigned projects to ensure a solid understanding of the subject.
  • Understand the details and requirements of projects to produce engaging, high-quality books aligned with client preferences.
  • Write 100% original and error-free content, strictly adhering to internal and client-provided guidelines.
  • Positively accept client feedback and promptly incorporate required changes.
  • Professionally edit content across multiple genres.
  • Format manuscripts into high-quality e-books adhering to industry standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all formatting and layouts meet publishing standards.
  • Maintain communication with authors throughout the publishing process to clarify requirements and update progress.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to e-book publishing and formatting.
  • Manage and archive digital assets effectively to ensure smooth workflow and easy retrieval.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to authors and other team members regarding publishing processes and standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Skill and Qualification:

  • Proficiency in E-book formatting, publishing, and layout design.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with e-book publishing software and tools.
  • Experience collaborating with authors and content creators.
  • Knowledge of copyright laws and publishing regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in the publishing industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Publishing, or a related field.
