Job Summary

The Compliance Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. This entails conducting risk assessments, developing policies, and implementing controls to mitigate potential exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Evaluation: Assess clients' risk levels, significance, and scope to identify potential compliance issues.
  2. Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures to ensure alignment with laws and regulations.
  3. KYC/CDD Measures: Draft, update, and implement Know Your Customer/Client Due Diligence measures to verify client identity and assess risk.
  4. Compliance Reviews: Review internal rules and procedures to ensure alignment with laws and propose necessary updates.
  5. AML/CFT Services: Serve as the primary Compliance Officer, including responsibilities related to Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism services.
  6. Suspicious Transactions Analysis: Analyze records and data related to suspicious transactions and make informed decisions on whether to notify relevant authorities or maintain transactions.
  7. Reports and Investigations: Prepare and submit reports to relevant authorities and clients, and investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues.
  8. Compliance Risk Management: Monitor, review, and analyze compliance risks to ensure adherence to laws and regulations through effective processes and systems.
  9. Ongoing Training and Education: Prepare and execute ongoing training programs for clients on compliance matters, with a strong focus on AML/CFT.
Requirements:
  1. Education: University graduate in Finance and Accounting/Law.
  2. Certification: Professional certification in AML and compliance.
  3. Work Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  4. Languages: Proficient in English.
