Purchase Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Purchase Assistant to join our team. This role involves receiving purchase indents from factories, recording them in the purchase indent register, and preparing purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities:- To receive purchase indents from factories and record them in the purchase indent register.
- To check indents against approved vendor lists and prepare purchase orders accordingly.
- To ensure proper delivery of purchase orders to vendors via mail or fax.
- To monitor receipt of goods from vendors according to schedules.
- To inspect materials provided by vendors and dispatch them to factories as needed.
- To update the purchase indent register based on Goods Received Inspection Reports (GRIR) from factories.
- In cases of general purchases, to acquire items using company funds and send them to factories.
- To assist managers and purchase officers in re-evaluating vendors and preparing Vendor Re-Assessment Forms (VRF).
- To note particulars of important material indents in the import indent register.
