Job Title: Purchase Assistant
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant at our organization. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating purchase orders, and communicating effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods, services, and materials
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other documents
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, and payments
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze market trends, prices, and supplier performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
