Job Overview

The role of Strategic Communication Officer is a critical component in driving the success of our organization's communication efforts.

This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, who can develop and implement effective communication strategies across various mediums and channels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communication Content Development:
    • Develop and review content for publications, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, reports etc.
    • Create engaging social media content and reviews.
    • Edit print media content e.g. press releases, featured articles etc.
    • Update news and events on the website.
  • Liaison and Facilitation:
    • Liaise and facilitate schools and offices in their specific content and communication requirements.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Act as a liaison between the Communications office and the social media agency for effective planning and implementation of the social media strategy.
    • Manage Twitter, Facebook, Instagram pages, and YouTube channel.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Coordinate and manage internal events with schools and offices, including picture and content coverage.

  • Support Departmental Activities:
    • Provide support to current and upcoming departmental activities and initiatives.
Required Skills and QualificationsQualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in communication or mass communication.

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in communication or a related field.
