Key Role: Data Engineer

About the Job

We're seeking an experienced data engineer to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions. You will be responsible for architecting complex data systems, developing end-to-end cloud-native pipelines, and guiding the team on best practices.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable data architectures to meet diverse business needs
  • Develop analytical systems from scratch, providing architectural direction and translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Build and manage data pipelines in AWS, leveraging expertise with AWS components
  • Work across the engineering lifecycle on major/minor enhancements and maintenance of existing applications
  • Conduct feasibility studies, capacity planning, and process redesign/re-engineering of complex integration solutions
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years applied experience in software engineering concepts
  • Extensive experience in managing the full lifecycle of data, from collection and storage to analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in large-scale data processing distributions such as JavaSpark, knowledge on Data Pipeline (DPL), Data Modeling, Data warehouse, Data Migration
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficient in coding in modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of domain driven design, micro-services patterns, architecture
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, experience with IBM MQ, Apache Kafka
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security
