Unreal Engine Lead Developer

We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Developer to lead our development team. This role involves working with fellow programmers and the production team to create game systems and features using UE4's framework.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ and Blueprint, as well as experience with external direction and team feedback. They should be able to guide artists and Blueprint developers to create work that adheres to the design of game systems while maintaining good style and optimization standards.

This is a hands-on role that requires dive into the UE4 source to make necessary architectural changes and understand how that will affect future versions of the engine. The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development team in creating game systems and features
  • Guide artists and Blueprint developers to maintain high-quality standards
  • Make architectural changes to the UE4 source code
  • Use source control to protect code and bug reporting software to manage issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Unreal Engine
  • Strong background in C++ and Blueprint
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Must be able to work on site
