Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative in the electrical contractor market, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with electrical contractors, promoting products, and driving sales growth.

Focusing on customer engagement, sales and business development, product expertise, and quoting/proposal generation, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can utilize your skills to contribute to our company's success.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of electrical products and systems. They will work closely with our technical team to identify new business opportunities and develop effective solutions for customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Establish strong relationships with electrical contractors in your area, understanding each customer's unique requirements for exceptional service and support.
  • Sales and Business Development: Discover new business opportunities in the electrical contractor market, staying updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of products and services, effectively communicating product features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
  • Quoting and Proposal Generation: Create clear and competitive quotes and proposals for customers, collaborating with the technical team to find suitable solutions for customer needs.
Requirements
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is highly valued.
  • Relevant experience in sales and business development, particularly with electrical contractors.
  • Knowledge of electrical products, systems, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented.
