Job Description:

As a key member of our Professional Services team, the Data Conversion Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the software implementation process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Harris customers receive a world-class experience as they migrate to our SmartFusion product.

  • Utilize various tools and processes to complete data migrations from other software packages and/or multiple data sources into Microsoft SQL Server in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Create complex T-SQL and PowerShell scripts with limited assistance as needed to facilitate data migration.
  • Reconcile migrated data to ensure conversion accuracy.
  • Interpret requirements and define necessary system setups.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues throughout the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Project Managers, Product Owners, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support Analysts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data migration/conversion working on multiple enterprise or software implementation projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL scripting skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows PowerShell and other issue tracking software.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess a deep understanding of all activities associated with software system implementations.
  • Capacity to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
