We are looking for a talented and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Test Engineering Professional. As an SQA Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects, contributing to the development of methodologies in relation to quality assurance.

Your main responsibilities will include creating, reviewing, and executing test plans, generating automated tests, and using test automation frameworks to create complex system test scripts.

About You

">

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to understand and analyze testing data, and have a desire to learn new tools quickly and efficiently.

">

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and knowledge of Agile methods such as Kanban and Scrum, are also essential.

">

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all code and software is thoroughly tested before distribution to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, including both positive and negative test scenarios.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and the support team to ensure all coding tasks have corresponding test scenarios.
  • Design and implement automated tests to identify defects early in the development process.
  • Utilize test automation frameworks and toolsets to create complex system test scripts.
  • Perform functional and regression testing, logging and managing test plan execution, and reporting progress.
  • Document defects resulting from test plan execution and communicate findings to relevant development team members.
  • Support the development team in defect investigation, reproduction, and resolution.
