A Research Position in Food Sciences
Description:
We are inviting applications from Pakistani nationals who are not married to a foreign national for the position of Research Fellow in the Institute of Home and Food Sciences.
This position is part of a Thematic Research Grant Programme by HEC, Project No. 6(05)/ACAD/SS&H/HEC/2018/77, titled "The effects of Vegetable fat Vs Animal fat based dairy consumption on growth and development of school going children: scientific evidences for regulatory authorities and dairy industry in Punjab".
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working in both field and lab environments, including raw material collection, chemical analyses, preparing project reports, writing new proposals, and manuscript writing.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. (Hons.)/BS or equivalent in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Science & Technology / Food Technology
- MS student must be enrolled in the Department of Food Science, Government College University Faisalabad
- Candidate having good working experience related to milk proteins and immunoreactivity and report writing will be preferred
Additional Information:
The contract duration is 12 months, and the incumbent will be required to sign a bond for the entire duration of the project. The application process involves submitting a one-page application including short CV and academic credentials to the office of the Principal Investigator by a specified date.
The project aims to investigate the effects of vegetable fat vs animal fat-based dairy consumption on the growth and development of school-going children, providing scientific evidence for regulatory authorities and the dairy industry in Punjab.
