Role Overview

This exciting opportunity is for a professional who can take on the role of a Sustainable Textile Auditor. The position requires an individual with strong communication, analysing and observing skills, along with extensive knowledge of the Textile Industry and its products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct third-party textile audits at client establishments to ensure conformity with established international standards and regulations.
  • Assess operations and systems by visiting clients, examining records, interviewing staff, and reviewing policies.
  • Closing audits by communicating findings with auditees and finalizing audit reports.
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients while upholding integrity and impartiality.
  • Reporting to management on a continuous basis.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and legislative changes.

This role demands excellent communication skills, analytical approach, and ability to make independent decisions through systematic and analytical thinking.

Requirements
  • Graduate in Textile or 3 years experience in Textile industry with expertise in QMS or 2-year experience in textile industry auditing.
  • Lead auditor qualification of SA 8000 and ISO 9001.
  • In-depth knowledge of Textile Industry and its products.
  • Knowledge of Textile certification.
  • Ability to travel extensively (domestic and International).
  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills.
  • Good command of English language (Oral and Written).
  • Computer literacy and good command on Windows and MS Office.
  • Ability to make independent decisions through systematic and analytical approach.
