Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer and account data from source documents.

Responsibilities
  1. Enter customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within set timeframes, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Compile and verify the accuracy of information, sorting it according to established priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  3. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any discrepancies when possible, and verify output to maintain data integrity.
  4. Research and obtain additional information for incomplete documents as needed, utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
  5. Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure seamless processing, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  6. Generate reports and store completed work in designated locations while performing regular backup operations, maintaining organized digital files.
  7. Scan documents and print files when necessary, utilizing office equipment effectively.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to strict data protection policies.
  9. Respond promptly to queries for information and access relevant files as required, providing excellent customer service.
  10. Adhere to data integrity and security policies to safeguard company assets, ensuring a secure working environment.
  11. Ensure proper use and maintenance of office equipment, addressing any malfunctions in a timely manner, minimizing downtime.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong background in data management and administration.
  2. Familiarity with MS Office and data programs, including proficiency in typing and data entry software, ensuring efficient workflow.
  3. Administrative duties experience, including handling office equipment such as fax machines and scanners, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. High-speed typing with high accuracy, along with excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation, ensuring error-free work.
  5. Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong organizational skills, staying focused on assigned tasks and deadlines.
  6. High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is an asset, enhancing job prospects and career advancement opportunities.
