Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Creative Visionary to lead our cross-functional team in developing innovative, compelling, and impactful campaigns. As a visionary leader with a strong background in branding, storytelling, and digital content creation, you will be responsible for inspiring and guiding the creative process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise a talented group of graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables.
  • Project Management: Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production artists.
  • Creative Development: Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Review and Approval: Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for sophisticated audiences.
  • Presentation and Approval: Oversee the presentation of final concepts and obtain approvals for deliverables.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Lead and review the work of the creative teams for all web, print, and digital marketing collateral.
  • Content Strategy: Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects, harnessing brand design, copy, art, and digital technology.
  • Marketing Planning: Collaborate with the marketing and sales departments in developing marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing or business.
  • Experience: Ten years of relevant experience, with five or more years as a creative director in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Skills: Experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget.
  • Skillset: Proficiency in leading a team of diverse, talented creatives.
  • Business Acumen: Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives.
