Job Role Overview

The Field Collection & Default Officer plays a pivotal role in driving the achievement of assigned recovery targets for Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and written-off portfolios.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collection Management Strategies:
    • Implement timely field visits to delinquent customers, ensuring effective negotiations to meet collection targets.
    • Ensure collections comply with regulatory debt collection guidelines and provide daily updates on visited accounts to the line manager.
  • Portfolio Optimization:
    • Monitor as per defined frequency, deliver recovery letters and notices promptly, and perform regular portfolio reviews to proactively manage collections.
  • Compliance Protocols:
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of consumer protection laws, debt recovery regulations, and internal procedures to ensure ethical and lawful actions.
Key Requirements:
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Bachelor Degree from a reputable institution.
    • Over 1 year of experience in collection & recovery.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, sound communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, readiness for mobility, and ability to work under pressure.
