Front Desk Officer Job Description

The role of a Front Desk Officer is multifaceted, encompassing various responsibilities that ensure seamless office operations. One of the primary duties is managing reception and phone calls, which includes answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls while taking messages when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage reception and phone calls to provide timely responses to internal colleagues and external enquirers.
  • Meet and greet visitors, directing them to relevant personnel in a welcoming and positive manner.
  • Provide information to clients and visitors about the company's services and products, addressing general inquiries accurately.
  • Maintain attendance and leave records of employees, ensuring up-to-date documentation.
  • Organize and maintain computer and manual filing systems, including policy acknowledgements, employee forms, and candidate test papers.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings efficiently.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries with care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
