Job Title: Merchandising and Branding Director

Key Responsibilities:

Direct the development and implementation of merchandising strategies to drive sales growth.

  1. Lead a team of professionals to optimize the production process from concept to delivery.
  2. Develop and execute business plans, including partnerships with suppliers and customers.
  3. Acquire new customers and maintain existing relationships through effective communication and relationship-building.
  4. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely shipments and meet customer expectations.
  5. Collaborate with planning managers to determine delivery schedules and production execution sequences.
  6. Possess in-depth knowledge of fabrics, trimmings, and accessories to make informed decisions.
  7. Maintain smooth communication with buyers locally and internationally.
  8. Prepare costing sheets and pricing for garments.
  9. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  10. Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and sales revenue.
  11. Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the global market.
  12. Market segmentation, targeting, buyer portfolio research, and approach planning.
  13. Establish a long-range plan for capacity and business growth.
  14. Cost analysis, price negotiation, and arranging buying meetings with Buyers.
  15. Product development, trend analysis, fashion forecasting, and sustainable material sourcing.
  16. Schedule and oversee smooth production processes.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the knitted garments industry.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  6. Willingsness to travel for business purposes.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic software.
