
Business Development Manager

A Relationship Officer SME is responsible for managing relationships with small and medium-sized business clients. They cultivate and maintain strong relationships to meet clients' financial needs, driving revenue growth for the bank.
Their main focus is on implementing approved sales/service plans, coordinating micro-level plans with business managers/relationship managers. Conducting market assessments to identify sales opportunities and new markets, reviewing existing ones in consultation with line managers.
Main Responsibilities- Implement approved sales/service plans to achieve growth objectives
- Conduct market assessment to identify sales opportunities and new markets
- Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with customers according to bank standards
- Achieve sales targets ethically
- Enhance profitability through loan sales and increasing customer base following standards
- Market bank products and develop strategies accordingly
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and industry position
- Assess customer profiles using credit evaluation criteria
- Communicate product terms and conditions clearly to customers
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution; MBA preferred
- Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience
